M.E.Doc integration & automation

Reports and documents in M.E.Doc? We link it to the system where you keep your books

M.E.Doc is a Ukrainian program for filing reports to tax and other state bodies, exchanging signed documents with counterparties and, as a separate module, running payroll for small companies. It works next to your accounting system rather than replacing it: invoices, acts and reports are prepared there and passed into M.E.Doc to be signed and sent. We set up that passage so documents and reports move over on their own, whether you keep your books in 1C, BAS, SAP or something else.

What we connect

  • Tax invoices, delivery notes, acts and bills made in 1C or BAS go into M.E.Doc with one button, and documents can travel back the other way too.
  • Regular reports such as the VAT return, the social contribution report and the balance sheet are filled from your accounting data instead of being retyped.
  • If you use SAP or ISpro, M.E.Doc has a ready link for them as well, and the exchange works in both directions.
  • For any other accounting program, documents are handed over as files in the layout M.E.Doc publishes, so your system only needs to save them correctly.
  • Data for the SAF-T UA tax file can be collected from several accounting programs at once and checked before it is filed.
  • Payroll for a team of up to 50 people can be run inside M.E.Doc, and the payroll reports fill themselves from the salary data.

Automation scenarios

01

Month-end reports

Before the accountant copies figures from the accounting program into report forms by hand.

After the report arrives in M.E.Doc already filled, and all that is left is to sign and send it.

02

Leaving 1C or BAS for another accounting system

Before reports and documents are tied to the ready 1C or BAS button, so changing the accounting system looks like losing filing.

After M.E.Doc stays where it is, and the new system hands documents to it through files or a custom link instead.

03

Sending tax invoices in bulk

Before each tax invoice is recreated in M.E.Doc one by one.

After invoices made in your accounting program are loaded in groups and sent for registration in one go.

04

Preparing the SAF-T UA file

Before data sits in several programs and has to be assembled into one file by hand.

After it is gathered from each source into M.E.Doc, checked there and exported ready to file.

How it works technically

For those who want to check: each point links to the official documentation page it comes from.

  • The M.E.Doc integration module exchanges tax invoices, primary documents and regulated reports with 1C or BAS, and documents can also be sent from M.E.Doc back to BAS or 1C.

  • Medoc API is meant for exchanging documents between any accounting system and M.E.Doc: tax invoices, delivery notes, bills, acts, waybills and regulated reports.

  • Tax invoices, acts and invoices created in any other accounting program can be imported into M.E.Doc; the vendor publishes the XML structures for setting up the export.

  • A report can be created in M.E.Doc or loaded from the accounting system, then signed with a qualified e-signature and sent to the supervisory body with delivery receipts.

Limits

On the vendor's site M.E.Doc is described as a program for reporting, document exchange and payroll; goods, warehouse and the general ledger stay in a separate accounting system, so M.E.Doc cannot replace 1C or BAS on its own. The payroll module is for companies of up to 50 employees, and filing payroll reports from it also needs the M.E.Doc reporting module. The program runs on Microsoft Windows. For accounting systems without a ready link, the vendor offers a custom solution on request.

Questions

Can we move from 1C or BAS to M.E.Doc completely?
Not completely. M.E.Doc covers reports, document exchange and payroll for up to 50 people, but goods, warehouse and bookkeeping itself stay in an accounting system. We help pick that system and link it to M.E.Doc so filing keeps working.
We work in 1C or BAS. Do documents have to be retyped in M.E.Doc?
No. M.E.Doc has a ready link for 1C and BAS: invoices, acts and reports are passed over with one button and arrive ready to sign.
Our accounting program isn't 1C, BAS or SAP. Will it work with M.E.Doc?
Usually yes. M.E.Doc accepts documents as files in a layout it publishes, and it also has an interface for other programs. We set up your system to hand documents over in that form.
Can payroll be moved into M.E.Doc?
For companies of up to 50 employees, yes: M.E.Doc has a payroll module that fills the payroll reports itself. We check beforehand how your staff and salary history will get there, since the vendor doesn't describe a ready import from other programs.
