1С/BAS ↔ Meest integration

Parcels from 1С/BAS go to Meest without retyping, and labels, registers and delivery statuses come back into the same documents

The order is shipped from 1С/BAS, but the Meest parcel is filled in separately and the courier is called by phone. We connect the two so a shipping document in 1С/BAS creates the Meest parcel with full data, the delivery cost, date and label come back into the document, the day's register and courier call go out together, and statuses return to 1С/BAS until the parcel is received or returned.

What moves between the systems

  • 1С/BAS → MeestA shipping document posted in 1С/BAS creates a Meest parcel with full data: contents, sender, recipient, payment terms and the planned delivery date.
  • Meest → 1С/BASThe Meest list of branches and parcel lockers is available in 1С/BAS, so the manager picks the recipient's point from the real list instead of typing it.
  • Meest → 1С/BASMeest calculates the delivery cost and delivery date, and both come back into the 1С/BAS document before the parcel is handed over.
  • Meest → 1С/BASLabels in 100×100 format or on A4 sheets, and the register for the courier, are printed straight from 1С/BAS.
  • 1С/BAS → MeestAt the end of the day, the register of parcels and the courier call go from 1С/BAS to Meest together, in one step.
  • Meest → 1С/BASDelivery statuses return to 1С/BAS on a schedule, including all changes over the last two hours; a refusal or return is marked in the document so the goods are expected back.

What we connect

  • We look at your 1С/BAS configuration, which document starts a shipment, and whether you already use the Meest module for 1C.
  • You sign a business contract with Meest and receive a login; the connection signs in with it and renews its access on its own.
  • We map the 1С/BAS fields to the Meest parcel: contents, sender, recipient, branch or parcel locker, payment terms, and where each value comes from.
  • We set up label and register printing in the format your warehouse uses, and the end-of-day register with the courier call.
  • We set up the status refresh schedule and agree which status closes the sale and which one marks a return.
  • We run several real parcels through the whole path from 1С/BAS to delivery, then hand the process over to the warehouse and stay on call for the first weeks.

Automation scenarios

01

Parcels typed twice

Before the order is in 1С/BAS, but the warehouse types the same recipient and contents again into Meest.

After the parcel is created from the document, and the label comes back to it.

02

The courier is called by phone

Before at the end of the day someone prints a list and calls for a courier.

After the register and the courier call go from 1С/BAS in one step, and the printed register is ready for handover.

03

Returns noticed too late

Before a refused parcel is found out about when it is already back at the warehouse.

After the refusal status reaches 1С/BAS on schedule, and the document is marked so the goods are expected back.

How it works technically

For those who want to check: each point links to the official documentation page it comes from.

  • According to the same documentation, the platform automatically builds a REST interface using the OData protocol, through which outside systems can read, change, create and delete data over HTTP.

  • Tracking returns the history of a parcel's operational statuses, and a separate method returns all status changes within a two-hour window for bulk synchronisation.

Limits

The limits come from both systems. Meest connects only businesses with a contract. Access renews itself every day, but when the account password changes, the connection has to be updated too. A register can be changed only before it is sent, and deleted only while the courier has not left. Meest limits how often requests can be made, so statuses are refreshed on a schedule rather than every minute. Of ready-made modules, Meest officially publishes only one for 1C, and it may not fit your 1С/BAS configuration. 1С/BAS is on the official prohibited software list: we do not take projects for state bodies, critical infrastructure or systems with state data, and with private businesses we discuss the risk openly.

How to start

Three steps from a first message to work on your project.

  1. 01

    Leave a request

Describe the task in the form — in text or by voice. Budget and timing are optional.

  2. 02

    We review and estimate

A developer studies the brief, asks about anything unclear and sends an estimate.

  3. 03

    We start

Once scope and price are agreed, the work begins.

Questions

Meest has its own module for 1C. Why not just install it?
Sometimes that is enough. We first check whether it fits your 1С/BAS configuration and documents; if it does not, we connect 1С/BAS through the documented Meest connection instead.
Can we start without a contract with Meest?
No. Meest connects only businesses with a contract. We prepare the 1С/BAS side meanwhile and connect as soon as you have the login.
What if we need to fix a parcel after the register is sent?
Meest allows changes to a register only before it is sent. That is why the register goes out at the end of the day, after the warehouse has checked the parcels.
Why do statuses not update instantly?
Meest limits how often requests can be made, so 1С/BAS collects statuses on a schedule, taking all changes over the last two hours at once. For a warehouse and accounting that is usually enough.
